The Opportunity Site is an approximately 81-acre area the City has identified for redevelopment, as part of the Becoming Brooklyn Center initiative – a collection of related activities that make progress towards the City’s vision of a thriving, diverse, safe, and inclusive community.

OPPORTUNITY SITE PROGRESS
The Opportunity Site is currently in the Phase III Engagement + Revise Plans phase of the project, which is anticipated to continue for the next several months. During this time, studies and plans are being finalized to inform the final Opportunity Site Master Plan. While this is happening, the city and its partners are conducting Phase III of public engagement.
